Steve 'Vom' Ritchie

Steve 'Vom' Ritchie started his drumming career in Stanford-le-Hope punk rockers 'The Miracle Babies'. He then joined up with ex-Bullies guitarist Clive Kemp in Cry Dyaan before going on to a five year stint with Dr and The Medics, from 1983 - 1988. During his time with the band he'd regularly be found enjoying a beverage or three at The Taste Experience or Crocs/The Toothbrush. In late 1988 he left the Medics for pastures new and went to Paris in 1990 to drum for Stiv Bators ill-fated last project that included Johnny Thunders and Dee Dee Ramone. Then later in the year he moved to Germany where he has been kept busy ever since, and has occupied the Drum Stool in Die Toten Hosen for a number of years. Just to 'keep his hand in' when the Hosen are resting up, Vom can also often be found drumming for original punks The Boys and TV Smith.
